Welcome from Mrs. Sherry Brevick. I began my journey as elementary principal of the Alma School District in the 2022-2023 school year. I am proud of the work that the Alma School District staff commits to. They are always focused on what benefits the children in our communities. The district commits to continuous improvement and has at its core, a dedicated team of teachers, support staff, paraprofessionals, administrators, and the school board.
My overall teaching career began in 1991. Shortly after, I started teaching in Alma in 1995. I hold certificates in elementary education and special education, which were followed by a master's degree and two administrative degrees. I have three children: my youngest is a freshman at UW Madison. My daughter just graduated from the University of Minnesota with a nutrition science degree and will pursue her master's degree. My oldest son is finishing his master's degree this year from the University of Minnesota in aerospace engineering.
My life has been committed to children, and I will bring my experiences with children to build the best for your child.
The elementary school will switch to electronic communication as much as possible this school year. A 'Principal Post' will be written weekly for elementary families to provide you with important information. The Principal Post will be sent via Skyward on Monday. Thank you for continuing to read my updates!
