As the golf season commences, the Alma-Pepin Golf Team would like to publicly thank the Wisconsin State Golf Association Foundation for the grant they received. They would also like to thank those who participated in the Alma-Pepin Alumni Golf Tournament during the summer of 2022. With this grant money and the money raised in the tournament, the team was able to purchase equipment to assist in their practice. Some of these tools include two hitting nets, three hitting mats, a Garmin and Rapsodo Launch Monitors, and push carts for the team.
The team will host its second annual golf tournament on June 17th, 2023. Anyone who graduated from, married someone, is a child of, or had a child who attended Alma-Pepin Schools can participate in the tournament. Find a team of three to four players and contact Coach Dan Noll to register your team (nolld@alma.k12.wi.us). There will be a Best Ball and Team Scramble as part of the tournament. A lot of fun was had by all participants last year and we are excited to make this an annual event!
