Lady Eagles at second base after their big win.

The Lady Eagles softball team played two conference games this week. The Eagles played Augusta on Tuesday and Whitehall on Friday. The Eagles won both games, bringing their record to nine wins and four loses.

On Tuesday, the Eagles played Augusta High School at Alma. The girls won the game 12-2, bringing the eagles closer to a chance at a conference title. Leah Green contributed to the score with three RBI’s by the end of the game. With eight strikeouts, Allidah Luff was able to keep Augusta at the lowest score possible.

On Friday, the girls scored 10 runs on Whitehall High School in a mere six innings. The Eagles were able to stop the Whitehall Norse from scoring completely, leading the game to an end with a score of 10-0. The girls were pristine on the plate against The Norse. Ashley Bartelt, Lundyn Carlson, and Bella Post each had two RBI’s to help the girls reach the final score. Kennedy Carlson, a sophomore from Pepin, hit her third home run of the season. Between the field and the plate, the girls played another conference game like champions.
