The Melrose Mindoro Mustangs traveled to Pepin for their volleyball conference match-up. This was a busy night as it was Pepin's homecoming and the Eagles' annual parents' night. This allows our volleyball players to appreciate their parents and all they do. The lady Eagles struggled with energy heading in the first set, but found a way to battle back and take the first set 25-20. The Eagles carried their momentum into the second set winning 25-17. The Mustangs showed their resilience by never giving up and battling to the end of the third set. However, the Eagles held strong and ended up winning 25-23. This meant that the Lady Eagles had won the matchup 3-0. Macy Stewart, #4, led the Eagles in kills finishing with 8 in total. Allidah Luff, #1, showed dominance in the back row by racking up 22 digs.  This was a great night for Eagles volleyball as the Junior Varsity, C-team, and Varsity all came out on top of the Mustangs. The night ended with the coronation of Pepin’s homecoming court. Congratulations to Aspyn Pawlak and Reeden Bocksell, the 2024 homecoming royalty.
