Next week (November 7-11) as a part of National Kindness Week, the Student Council will be organizing a school-wide food drive. There will be boxes in the Elementary entrances that students in grades B4-6 can put their items. Student Council members will be checking the boxes throughout the week and will get more or empty the box out if it gets too full.
On the 7-12 end there will be grade-level specific boxes in the front entrance for students to put their items. At the end of the week Student Council will weigh the amount of donations for each grade-level and whichever grade brought in the most amount of weight (per person average) will be rewarded with an ice cream sundae bar.
Student Council members will be sharing this with their class and encouraging students to donate. Donations will be collected all week.
