Elementary student, Polly Schamaun, is this week’s Student of the Week. Her parents are Jarrod and Sam. Polly is a preschool student who loves the color pink, specifically a darker “Rumi pink” from her favorite movie, K-Pop Demon Hunters. She enjoys learning about the letter Z, mainly lowercase, because she thinks it’s round and easier. Her favorite school food is cheese pizza, and at recess she loves playing games like unicorns, dragons, and dinosaurs. Outside of school, Polly enjoys going to the pool and the beach in the summer, and she especially loves opening presents at Christmas. She has a one-year-old sibling named Max and a yellow dog named Shelby. Polly isn’t sure what she wants to be when she grows up yet, but she thinks she’ll figure out to what to do when she’s six or eight years old. If she could have any superpower, she’d want to freeze bad guys. Her favorite Disney princess is Rumi, and she loves dressing up as a mermaid. Keep up the good work and congratulations!
