Today Mr. Ruff's Strength and Conditioning class got to enjoy the wonderful weather by getting outside and going on a hike! The class trekked up to Buena Vista from Second Street, a beautiful trail.




On Friday, the third graders transformed into surgeons to fix their patients by solving multiplication and division problems! They had a great time!









Congratulations to our Pepin-Alma Eagles football team, who are the Dairyland conference champions for the third year in a row! The Eagles will now take on Eleva-Strum in the first playoff round this Friday night.

This week’s elementary student of the week is sixth grader, Emmitt Inglett. Emmitt’s parents are Jonathan and Melanie Inglett. This year his favorite school activity has been painting ukeleles in art. Emmitt’s favorite school food is the calzones served for lunch. In his free time, Emmitt enjoys playing football and Roblox. He even enjoys football so much that when he grows up he wants to be a football player for the Dallas Cowboys. Congrats Emmitt on getting student of the week!


Alma Area Schools High School student of the week is Gavin Weaver! Gavin participates in many sports including basketball, golf, and his favorite sport, bowling. Mr.Kilian is Gavin's favorite staff member because he makes teaching very lively and humorous. One thing Gavin loves about Alma is when the kitchen staff makes orange chicken with rice. After Gavin graduates high school, he wants to become a mechanic because he finds it a very interesting occupation. Congratulations to Gavin Weaver!

Today in Kindergarten Mrs. Mueller helped students make their own applesauce. Based on their smiles, it turned out pretty tasty!

This week's Elementary student of the week for Alma is Ella Ritscher. Ella is the daughter of Cody and Georgia Ritscher. She also has one younger sibling, Lydia. Ella participates in the Buffalo County Fair, showing goats and doing projects. In her free time, she likes to play with her animals. At home, Ella has three dogs; Reba is their tracking dog, puppy Lex, and according to Ella, their dog Avery is just a dog. Ella’s favorite activity brought to her through the Alma Area School is basketball. Congratulations Ella on being student of the week!


This week's high school student of the week is Wil Jumbeck! Wil is a sophomore at Alma Area Schools, and his favorite thing about Alma is how close everyone in the classes are. He enjoys having the possibility to get to know everyone in the school. Wil appreciates Mrs. Meixner and the kitchen staff’s stuffed crust pizza. One of Wil’s favorite classes is Wildlife Management with Ms. Jumbeck. Wil is a member of the football, basketball, baseball, and golf teams as well as band. When Wil is not in school, he likes to work on his hunting skills by participating in his favorite sport, trap shooting. Congratulations Wil Jumbeck!
