Rivermen Clubhouse kids discovered fun times using colors that other friends like more then themselves. They did a color challenge where a friend shouted out their favorite color and everyone had to color one part of their picture that color. They could see that their photos were all beautiful in its own way. They also danced and moved around in large groups this week! Getting energy out. Finally they made a big banner. Working together to make a master piece of how lucky we are to be part of a great district. Thank you staff, families and big helpers for making our time together fun!

Rivermen Clubhouse kids enjoyed an afternoon of playing in the gym to show off their basketball and jump rope skills. Then they ended with a cooking lesson. They made up an easy pie crust and added cinnamon and sugar. Fun times before the snow came into town.

The GBB Regional Playoff game at Royall has been officially rescheduled for Wednesday night at 7:00 PM. Rivermen Clubhouse kids had a blast playing with older helping friends this week. We appreciate the helping hands! They were busy with Valentine’s games and projects to spread the love. Today they played the hot and cold game as they searched for the Valentine Bee. They also did a color by number Valentine picture. Such fun times!

Spencer Myren and Jackson Reed have a great final round at the Whitehall sponsored VEX IQ Challenge.

These 5th-8th graders from Alma School had an exciting game day--it began early with the VEX IQ Challenge at Whitehall. The full day robotic event began with 8 teammatch rounds, 3 skill rounds and 3 coding rounds.The ranking from those match ups led to the finals for each team. Team 4664A from Alma School (Silas Myren, Spencer, Myren, Jackson Reed, Riley Weaver) with Jackson and Spencer on the controllers led for several rounds in the finals with 56 points. Match play ended with 3 other teams outscoring the Eagles. Eagles 4664A placed 4 out of 17 matchups! It was a great day of robotic competition filled with strategy, problem solving and teamwork. Way to go Eagles Robotics participants!
