Today, our very own Lu Ann Flury received the WASDA Bert Grover Child Advocacy Award. She was recognized at the WASDA Annual Educational Conference at The Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake. Below is a link to a video recognizing Lu Ann Flury. Lu Ann was nominated by the Alma School District to receive this award for her many contributions to the Alma School District. Every year, Lu Ann provides additional monetary and supply donations to our students and staff. Lu Ann and her family were instrumental in getting our 1-to-1 Chromebook initiative off and running, and her and Rick recently purchased the new outdoor sound system for our school district. Lu Ann provides additional school supplies every year to our students and staff, and her and Rick recently dedicated additional funds to our STEM and Robotics programs. Lu Ann Flury is no doubt a worthy recipient of this amazing award. The students, staff, families, and communities of the Alma School District are very fortunate to have such a wonderful advocate. Congratulations Lu Ann! 2021-2022 Bert Grover Individual Award: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y52MtL_fsU8
