Evelyn Rolbiecki is a first grader from Alma and the daughter of Scott and Whitney. Her brother Waylon and she help take care of their dog, Dolly. Their family is also planning to add more animals soon, including a bunny, a cat, goats, chickens, and even cows. Evelyn’s favorite color is teal, and she loves learning about science in school. Her favorite snack is Cheetos, and she especially enjoys snack time, free choice, and watching movies on her favorite holiday, Valentine’s Day. At recess, she enjoys jumping rope; outside of school, she likes playing games and spending time in the snow. Evelyn’s favorite sport is volleyball, and when she grows up, she hopes to become a teacher. Congratulations, Evelyn, keep up the great work!

This week’s Student of the Week is sixth grader, Tyson Barton. Tyson is the son of Stacy and Travis along with his step dad, Tony. He enjoys spending time with his brother Gavin and his two pets, Tito and Jager. Florida is Tyson's dream vacation, and while he enjoys the sun, he would like to see a whale show. The best part of sixth grade so far, in his opinion, is the free time he gets in open study. Tyson enjoys Phy. Ed. so he can participate in games and have fun. Because she is a nice and helpful, Mrs. Goeldner is his favorite teacher. Congratulations Tyson on being this week’s Student of the Week! Keep up the great work!
