Sixth grader, Aubree Rolbiecki, is this week's Student of the Week. Aubree is the youngest child of Samantha and Matt Rolbiecki and the youngest sibling of Tristan Rolbecki, who is in 8th grade at Alma. During school, Aubree likes math class with Mrs. Glander; she likes how she is allowed to work at her own pace with the new program, Alex. Aubree favors Mrs. Glander and Mr. Hoolihan because of the fun environment that they bring to Alma and learning in general. She is a very busy girl, participating in volleyball, basketball, softball, and, as long as her own games don’t interfere, she and her two closest friends manage the girls' basketball team. While managing, she looks to Macy Stewart and Tori Creighton as her biggest role models. Aubree likes watching their style of play and continues to learn from them each game. She would say her hobbies are sports and swimming in the summertime, whether that’s in a pool or in the river. When asked if she had anything else to say, Aubree said, “Go Eagles.” Congratulations, Aubree, and keep up the great work.

Elijah Demers, better known as Eli, is a first grader from Alma. He is the son of Kelly and Mitchell Demers and has two siblings, Elenor and Grayson. Eli’s favorite colors are blue and red, and his favorite subject to learn about is math. When it comes to school lunch, he loves pizza dippers the most. Eli enjoys playing basketball and hopes to play football when he gets older. His favorite football team is the Green Bay Packers. During recess, he likes to play four-square and go sledding when there is snow. Outside of school, Eli loves playing with his trucks, especially his favorite one, the Cemitruck with a red cab. When he grows up, Eli wants to become a police officer. He has a big heart and thinks helping people would be an important job. Eli has many pets at home, including two dogs, a cat, one bunny, three goats, some chickens, and two ducks. Eli says Alma is nice with good toys, and he enjoys being part of his community. Congratulations, Eli, on being Student Of The Week

The Alma School District is excited to announce the addition of a new flight simulator through the Students in Aviation program, now integrated into our Fab Lab. This hands-on learning tool aligns with our LIFToFFS focus on personalized learning and future-ready skills, allowing students to explore the basics of flight, build STEM skills, and engage with real-world aviation concepts safely and engagingly. Far more than a game, the simulator allows students to follow their individual interests in aerospace, physics, and engineering through inquiry-driven, self-paced instruction. Students will begin using the simulator in the near future as part of upcoming lessons designed to spark curiosity and introduce career pathways in aviation and related fields.

Members of the Alma community came to the school to make basketball T-shirts with the assistance of Mrs. Glander. They used the new vinyl cutter in the Fab Lab to make these designs. They then used the t-shirt press to complete the look. Thank you everyone for participating in this fun filled event!

Both the girls and boys Eagles came up short in tough conference matchups against Independence-Gilmanton last night. We’re wishing both teams the best as they look to bounce back with wins later this week.
