Hello, everyone! The fundraiser has been extended!!! It will now go through MONDAY, November 11th!!! We have just a handful of days left! We could really use your help earning new playground equipment for our kids!!! We have earned over $600 with just 15 sellers participating, so imagine what we could earn if every student signed up and sold even just ONE ITEM! It takes just ONE MINUTE to sign up as a seller. Please see the instructions below. We need everyone's participation to make this fundraiser a success! Let's earn some PLAYGROUND IMPROVEMENTS!!!! Here are the PRIZES for our top sellers!!! A giant Pokemon index with over 875 characters and a grippy football for the pool or the rain! But, don't forget, NEW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT is the main reward here! Below is a list of the products that are available to purchase through this fundraiser, along with step-by-step instructions on how to sign your child up to sell. Coffee (ground, whole bean & K-cups) Artisan loose teas Hot cocoa Chai Shortbread cookies Tea infuser basket We will be using a digital order form, which will make the ordering process super easy using a smartphone or computer. If you prefer a paper order form, please contact Sherry Brevick. STEP 1: Please help your student sign up for a Seller ID using the link below. Use a parent's or guardian's email address (not a student/school email address). Your student will be assigned a number and will need this number to get credit for their sales. GET YOUR SELLER ID# HERE https://www.givingbean.com/listbuilder/?partnerid=dd7e1 (takes just 1 minute!) You will enter this number in each digital order form when your customers place their orders. If you are not face-to-face with your customer when they order, please give them your Seller ID number and ask them to enter it on their order form (this is very easy to do). This method is for LOCAL CUSTOMERS ONLY, as these orders will be shipped directly to school (no shipping charges!) at the end of the 2-week period and will be sent home with students or made available for pickup at school. These orders will be delivered by the student or student's parent/guardian. This link will allow you to accept credit cards, cash or check. Customers can use this method to pay by credit card or debit card right there in the order form! If they choose to pay with cash or check, you will be responsible for submitting those payments to school by the end of the two week sale. ***Checks should be made out to Alma Area Schools with "Giving Bean" in the memo line. If you choose to take cash or checks, you will need to enter a special code into the digital order form. This code will be the word "go" along with your seller ID number, for example "go1" or "go23". STEP 2: Copy & paste the link below into a text or email to your family, friends and neighbors to give them shopping access! You can also just click on the link if you are physically with your customer and are taking them through the order process yourself. If you want to make it super easy, you can just copy & paste the entire template below, including the link, into an email or text. Again, these instructions are for "local customers" and the student or student's family will be responsible for delivering these orders. TEMPLATE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hello! Please help me raise money for new playground equipment at Alma Elementary by purchasing freshly roasted artisan coffee (and other cozy beverages including tea, hot cocoa & chai! Cookies are available also!). Please click on this link to place an order and enter my Seller ID number [enter student's Seller ID here], so that I get credit for the sale. Your order will be delivered around the end of November/beginning of December. Thank you so much for supporting Alma Area Schools! LINK TO SHOP: https://www.givingbean.com/orderform2/access.php?partnerid=dd7e1 Let's sell some coffee (and other cozy beverages)! Cookies, too! We appreciate your support. This week's Alma High School Student of the Week is freshman, Landyn Hill. Landyn’s favorite subject is math because he finds it an easy subject. At lunch, his favorite food is calzones. Landyn’s favorite sport is football; he enjoys the physical contact of tackling the other players. In his free time, Landyn enjoys riding his dirtbike. After high school, Landyn would like to become a welder. Congrats Landyn Hill on getting Student of the Week!

This week’s Alma Elementary Student of the Week is second grader, Oliver Larson. Oliver’s parents are Luke and Jamie Larson. His favorite class is Science, where he enjoys doing fun experiments. One of Oliver’s favorite school lunches is pizza. Another one of his favorite things are foxes because they are super fuzzy. When Oliver is older, he would like to become a cop because he would have the opportunity to own a taser. Congratulations Oliver Larson!

Having some Halloween spirit, the Pre-school class made some silly monsters. When they blow into the straw on the side it brings their crazy monsters to life! They were beyond excited to finally try out their cool craft!!

Eight healthcare workers from Emplify Health by Gunderson came and talked to the junior and senior classes, and some of our Pepin friends also attended this health care presentation. This presentation gave the students an opportunity to learn about the variety of occupations Emplify Health offers!
