Mrs. Brecka's 2nd Graders celebrated Thanksgiving by reading the story How to Catch a Turkey. Then, they were challenged to create a maze to get their "turkey" through. They had 20 minutes to build and test. Such creative minds they have!

Quinn Ressie, daughter of Elizabeth and Kory Ressie, is this week's Elementary Student of the Week. Quinn’s preferred subject is math, and she loves staying active by playing sports in her free time. A couple of her favorite sports are basketball and softball. Quinn loves zebras because of their unique patterns. When it comes to her favorite food, Quinn loves buttered noodles. When she grows up, she wants to become a doctor so that she can help a variety of people. Congratulations Quinn and keep up the great work!
