Congrats to this week's Alma Pride Winners! Keep up the great work!

Here are yesterday's Halloween costume champions! They all had great costumes and enjoyed dressing up for the day!

Who doesn't love wearing their pajamas ALL DAY!?!? To finish off their spooky week, the elementary had Pajama Day.

Today Ms. Burrow's Spanish classes got to celebrate Dia De Muerto. This holiday is originally celebrated on November 1st and November 2nd, but this year we celebrated early.

Some high school boys got a chance to get outside and enjoy one of the last couple days of nice weather while enjoying the new additions to the playground.

Yee-Haw! For day two of Red Ribbon Week, the Alma Schools had many wild cowboys and cowgirls running around.

Starting October 31st, the Alma Area Schools will be taking in donations for the Buffalo County Food Pantry. Send donations to the school with a student!

Having some Halloween spirit, the Pre-school class made some silly monsters. When they blow into the straw on the side it brings their crazy monsters to life! They were beyond excited to finally try out their cool craft!!

Alma All-Stars! Day three of Red Ribbon Week consisted of many athletes, including the infamous River Roo.

Mark your calendars!

Eight healthcare workers from Emplify Health by Gunderson came and talked to the junior and senior classes, and some of our Pepin friends also attended this health care presentation. This presentation gave the students an opportunity to learn about the variety of occupations Emplify Health offers!

Spooky bugs! Kindergarten students tied in Halloween excitement with observing bugs in science class.

This week's elementary student of the week is kindergartener, Olivia Henderson. She is the daughter of Macail and Nichole Henderson and has two siblings; an older brother Fletcher, and a younger sister, Albina. She loves playing with her two dogs, Tink and Tuck. Olivia is in Mrs. Mueller's class this year and loves learning about reading and math. She enjoys reading on her own and enjoys it when Mrs. Mueller reads to the class. When it’s time for recess, she loves to head outside and play on the monkey bars and swings. Her top favorite school lunches are spaghetti and chicken and rice. Olivia said that she loves coming to school and her favorite thing about Alma Area Schools is that she can work hard and learn so much.
